charlotte saint cullen

I make things with materials that fight back so that I
can feel the weight of what I can not name.
I have faith in blue flowers, lit candles and jewellery
that belonged to my mum, and a curiosity for religious
iconography and a catholic affinity for tat.
My works only look hard because they’re protecting
their own soft underbelly.
I write love letters as an act of resistance, and hold
my breath.
